Welcome to the website of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lima!

It is a great honor to represent the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador from Lima.

My mission is to strengthen bilateral relations with the three countries, together with my team.  We are strategic allies to achieve common goals in the fields of the fight against transnational organized crime and the protection of human rights. We also support the global sustainability agenda and encourage business between our countries, especially in the agri-food, water and maritime sectors.

I am proud to mention that in April 2024 the Peruvian-Dutch Chamber of Commerce - NLAndes was established with the objective to actively develop and promote the commercial interests of Peru and the Netherlands and its members. Our consular department is permanently at your service to provide assistance to our fellow citizens in Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador, and also to Peruvian, Bolivian and Ecuadorian citizens who require our services such as short or long stay visas.

More about Ambassador Kofman

Mr. Kofman holds a degree in Public Administration from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. 
He started his diplomatic career in The Hague at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the departments of Human Resources, Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
He then held diplomatic positions at the Embassies of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Indonesia, the United States and Costa Rica.  
Since August 2023 he is Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Peru and concurrent Ambassador to Bolivia and Ecuador.
