The economic section of the Dutch embassy in Argentina, together with the Netherlands Business Support Office in Córdoba, have worked on promoting the collaboration of Dutch health-related firms and institutions with those of Argentina. A highlight of this work is a study of the Argentine market conducted by the Dutch Task Force Health Care (TFHC) that analyses the provision of health care services in Argentina and the opportunities for Dutch organizations and enterprises. The study was presented to Dutch firms in April 2021. An important next step will be the participation of Argentine firms and institutions in the World of Health Care, a conference and matchmaking event organized by TFHC.
Logistics
Ever since, the Netherlands has been a key logistics hub connecting global markets. By combining the power of logistics and infrastructure, the country has become “the gateway to Europe”, accounting for significant parts of European road and water transport. Key success factors are the Port of Rotterdam (Europe's largest port) and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. In Argentina we work closely with the Ministry of Transport on waterways, ports and sustainable mobility. The Port of Rotterdam and the Port of Buenos Aires signed a cooperation agreement and have been working together on the new layout of the Port of Buenos Aires. STC made a study on multimodal transport. Port Consultants Rotterdam has developed the vision and the master plan of the Port of Bahía Blanca and our dredgers Boskalis and Van Oord have been present in the country for decades. In Paraguay we participate every year in the biggest regional logistics fair Navegistic, with a stand for Dutch companies. In the last edition we won the prize for the best stand!
