The department of political affairs and communication is, together with the management of the Embassy, responsible for representing Dutch political interests in the Kingdom of Denmark.

The department maintaines contact with the Danish government, political and social organizations. We follow Danish EU and foreign policy and domestic political and social developments throughout the Kingdom. Priority themes are closely related to current Danish, Dutch, European and international affairs.

Furthermore, the department maintains contact with the press, manages the website and social media channels and provides information about the Dutch government and society.
