EU Cooperation - Finland
Finland is a close partner of the Netherlands in the European Union.
The Embassy of the Netherlands in Finland actively supports cooperation between our countries in the European Union. Ever since Finland joined the EU in 1995, the Netherlands and Finland have been like-minded partners on a diverse range of topics.
The embassy monitors and reports on Finnish positions concerning relevant EU topics and conveys messages on Dutch EU priorities. Amongst others, strengthening of the internal market, EU climate and energy issues and eurozone governance are focus areas of the Embassy.
