PM Rutte to visit India
The Netherlands Prime Minister Mr. Mark Rutte and Minister of Finance Ms. Sigrid Kaag will be participating in the G20 summit being hosted by India in New Delhi on September 9 and 10. Following this, on Monday, September 11, the Prime Minister will visit Bengaluru, State of Karnataka as part of an economic mission.
During the G20 summit, to which the Netherlands has been invited by the current G20 chair, India, the world’s largest economies will discuss a range of topics related to financial stability, economic growth and development. The focus of India’s presidency is to establish agreements on economic growth, digital transformation, climate financing and food security. under India’s presidency.
Right after the summit in New Delhi, Prime Minster Mark Rutte will travel to Bengaluru on September 11 where he will inaugurate an economic mission involving more than sixty companies and knowledge institutions (from the Netherlands) led by VNO-NCW President Ms. Ingrid Thijssen.
During his visit to Bengaluru, Prime Minister Mark Rutte will also meet with representatives of the Indian state of Karnataka, visit the Netherlands Consulate-General in Bengaluru, and hold discussions with Indian companies engaged in business with the Netherlands. Prime Minister Rutte will also visit an innovation lab of the company NXO and, together with local government representatives, participate in a roundtable discussion with Dutch companies operating in Karnataka. The visit will conclude with a networking reception, where various partnerships between companies, knowledge institutions, and government agencies will be signed in the presence of the Prime Minister.
