18 Indonesian Students Awarded Scholarships to NL

Dutch Embassy recently celebrated a moment of joy and pride as 18 talented individuals were awarded scholarships to pursue their studies in the Netherlands.

Twelve recipients were from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan) - the Netherlands joint scholarship program, cofunded by the Dutch government, while six were awarded the Cultural Heritage Scholarship, fully funded by the Dutch government.

Ambassador Lambert Grijns, along with the Head of Division for Cooperation and Scholarship Development at LPDP and the Director of Nuffic Southeast Asia, had the honor of presenting the certificates to these outstanding awardees. Their chosen fields of study, including maritime economics and logistics, water and sustainable development, and heritage studies, are all crucial to strengthening the relationship between the Netherlands and Indonesia.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the awardees and wish them great success in their academic journeys. The collaboration with LPDP in making this joint scholarship program a reality is highly valued, and we are immensely grateful to Nuffic Southeast Asia for their exceptional work in implementing the program and organizing this memorable award ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Head of Mission/Head of Economic Department, Education and Science Attaché, and Deputy Head of Culture and Communication Department, underscoring the significance of these scholarships in fostering long-term collaboration between our nations.
