In late February, Dominique Kuhling, Director for Asia & Oceania at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited Jakarta for two days.
In late February, Dominique Kuhling, Director for Asia & Oceania at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited Jakarta for two days and held productive meetings with key Indonesian officials, with a focus on deepening cooperation between the Netherlands and Indonesia, as well as exploring opportunities for collaboration within the framework of ASEAN cooperation.
During his visit, Kuhling also had the honour of opening the World Privacy Day event, which highlighted the Netherlands' commitment to global data privacy efforts. The event provided an opportunity to discuss privacy law and its impact on international relations.
In addition to her professional activities, Kuhling also explored Jakarta's rich cultural and historical heritage. She visited several important places in Jakarta, including Cut Meutia Mosque, Ereveld Menteng Pulo, and the National Museum, accompanied by the Erasmus Huis Jakarta team. The visit provided a deeper understanding of Indonesian history and culture, further strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
