NJJO (National Youth Jazz Orchestra) is a unique jazz orchestra
from the Netherlands, consisting of 20 young jazz talents. Their
formation changes every two years and they are currently led by
renowned trumpeter and bandleader Maite Hontelé as their artistic
director. Maite Hontelé has personally designed and composed the
orchestra's eighth formation with her project "NJJO Goes
Mambo", going on tours in the Netherlands and abroad. Hontelé's
experience in Colombia, where she released 5 albums and performed
extensively, has shaped her musical style and approach. Two of her
albums, "Déjame Así" and "Cuba Linda," were
nominated for Latin Grammys.

On Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Erasmus Huis, the NJJO and
Maite Hontelé created an exclusive latin night program. It will
