About Maria du Toit and Tobias Borsboom

Maria du Toit is a distinguished South African clarinetist who currently resides in the Netherlands as a soloist and chamber musician. With performances spanning three continents, du Toit has garnered international acclaim. She has won numerous international clarinet competitions and awards, including the prestigious Jeunesses Musicales in Bucharest, and a South African Music Award (SAMA) nomination for her album Luminous Shade.

Renowned Dutch pianist Tobias Borsboom is known for his distinctive touch and vibrant performances. After winning the Dutch Classical Talent Award and Audience Award, he performed in all major concert halls in the Netherlands. His debut album Wanderer and his rendition of 'Pan' by Vítězslav Novák have received widespread acclaim. He also has a broad artistic interest, ranging from literary concerts to theater productions.

For their Indonesian tour, they will play a repertoire that spans from the 18th and 19th centuries of Mozart and Brahms, jazz-influenced compositions of Millhaud and Gershwin, as well as Javanese piece "Kebo Giro" as composed by Paul Seelig.
