Ambassador Marc Gerritsen, along with CDA Park Soo-deok from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Indonesia, met with Indonesia's Minister of Environtment Hanif Faisol Nurofiq and Vice Minister Diaz Hendropriyono to explore the use of carbon credits in financing the sustainable closure of landfills in Indonesia. This initiative represents a collaborative effort to address the growing waste problem in the country while also contributing to global climate goals.
