About Kadir van Lohuizen
Kadir van Lohuizen is best known for his long-term photography project, which includes the consequences of the rising sea levels, the diamond industry and migration in the Americas, among others. Based in Amsterdam, Kadir has received numerous prizes and awards in photojournalism and is a founding member of NOOR Images. In 2000 and 2002 he was a jury member of the World Press Photo contest and was on the supervisory board of the World Press Photo Foundation.
