The Innovation Team (IA) provides information and assistance to the private sector, research institutions, universities and government in the Netherlands by closely monitoring developments in science, technology, innovation and education in Japan. The Netherlands Innovation Network focuses on Japan’s top innovative sectors, which include energy transition, semicon/quantum/photonics/nanotech, digital technologies (AI, 5G/6G, IoT, robotics). The Education and Science Attaché focuses on policy exchange, mobility and cooperation in Vocational Education and Training, higher education and academia. The joint aim is to promote and develop co-operation in education, research and development between counterparts in both countries.
