We are happy to celebrate the opening of the new Pon.Bike Lithuania factory in Kedainiai Free Economic Zone. Together with the Minister of Economy and Innovation Ausrine Armonaite, Minister of Transport and Communications Marius Skuodis, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Agnė Vaiciukevičiūtė, PhD , Mayor of Kėdainiai Valentinas Tamulis we definitely felt like a part of one big family.

This state-of-the-art 40,000 square metre facility is a testament to the growing partnership between the Netherlands and Lithuania, underscoring the significant Dutch investment in the region. With an estimated investment of around €56.9 million, this project is set to create approximately 600 new jobs, providing a substantial boost to the local economy.

Huub Lamers, COO at Pon.Bike, highlights that Lithuania was chosen from among many European countries for its stability, ease of doing business, and skilled workforce. He emphasized that Lithuania’s excellent logistics system and recent market developments made it the ideal location for Pon.Bike’s seventh and most advanced factory.

This new facility not only meets the highest standards of sustainability and clean production but also aligns with the broader goals of promoting smart mobility and sustainable technologies. The collaboration between Pon.Bike and Lithuania is a shining example of how international partnerships can drive innovation and create a cleaner, smarter future.

Thank you Fanja Pon, Anya Haarhoff Huub Lamers Janco van der Heiden Sander Koot Algimantas Gedvilas and all Pon.Bike family for choosing Lithuania and good luck!
