Good cooperation between the EU member states makes for a strong and resilient European Union. Within the EU cooperation takes place on many topics, varying from human rights, trade, security and agriculture to environment and climate.   The Netherlands and Poland share common interests on many of the aforementioned topics and  by working closely together, we can be of benefit to each other and to the EU.

One of the bilateral key events is the annual Utrecht Conference, which has been organized for over 30 years and brings together Dutch and Polish officials to discuss the cooperation within the framework of the EU on a wide array of topics, e.g. EU external policy, single market, energy and climate, security and defense.

In addition to working level discussions, also bilateral consultations between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs take place.
