What do we offer?

The call is open for all kind of cultural activities.

Excluded for funding are: (mainly or purely) scientific and commercial activities.

• The maximum grant per project is PLN 20 000,-.
• The minimum grant per project is PLN 5000,-.
• The grant is a maximum of 50% of the total project budget.
• The funds are transferred to the Polish partner (legal entity), who is responsible for paying the Dutch partners and any third parties.
• Grants are granted only if the resources of the Embassy are sufficient.

The grant is awarded in compliance with art. 2 of the Framework Law on Subsidies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, of the Subsidies Decree of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, and of Arts. 8.1 and 8.2 of the Subsidies Regulation of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2006.

General Guidelines:

• The project has to start between August 1st and December 31st 2025. The project partners are professional Polish and Dutch organizations or legal entities. Individual artists or students are not eligible.
• The project involves at least one Polish and one Dutch partner, each with a clear role within the project.
• The project takes place in the region of Dolny Śląsk (Lower Silesia).
• The project is publicly accessible. Priority is given to projects involving the active participation of the public.
• A subsidy only covers costs related to the Dutch participation in the project.
• The grant partners can submit an application for travel and accommodation costs of Dutch participants, (art) transport and production costs.

How to apply?

The application must be submitted using the appropriate forms which have to be filled in in the English language and consists of:

1. A completed and signed application form.
2. A separate project budget in PLN.

Please state ‘Open Call Dutch Embassy – title of your project’ in the subject line. The Embassy will confirm receipt of your application by e-mail.

• Your application will be processed by one of the employees of the Cultural Affairs Department, who will check the application for accuracy and completeness. If necessary, additional information may be requested or additional research may be conducted.

The applicant will receive a decision on their application by the end of June 2025.
