Loek ten Hagen has been working as Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, since the summer of 2020. He has held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague and at the Dutch embassies in Rome, Berlin and Baku. Before he joined the ministry in 2001, Loek worked temporarily as a trainee legal officer (RAIO).
