​​​​​Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) is a promising area in new therapies, treating inter alia cancer and genetic diseases. Sweden and the Netherlands are both at the forefront of this research, complementing each other in multiple areas.

During the roundtable, we discussed the successful results of a collaboration between Lund University and Leiden University which was established during a state visit in 2022, as well as other initiatives and projects. At the same time, participants were able to build new relationships in the field. We also covered challenges in production, research into new therapies and the implementation of these therapies in healthcare.

The discussion revealed new opportunities for cooperation across multiple viable areas, paving the way for promising future collaboration between Sweden and the Netherlands.
