ACTIVE Workshops - Three Days of Knowledge Exchange for a Bikeable Bangkok

From Monday the 19th until Wednesday the 21st of February 2024, we had the pleasure of partnering with the Dutch Cycling Embassy and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) in organizing three days of intensive workshops.

The goal was to exchange knowledge between Dutch and Thai bicycling and infrastructure experts, and local officials and policymakers. More than 60 representatives from various agencies attended to apply their knowledge about Dutch cities to Bangkok.

Making Bangkok Bikeable is high on the agenda of the BMA and the Netherlands Embassy is happy to assist. Cycling is a healthy, cheap, and sustainable alternative to using motorized vehicles. Not to mention, traffic jams with bicycles rarely exist.
