Green Jobs for Youth in Thailand - Thailand

On June 5th, 2024, the Embassy of the Netherlands In Thailand and Save the Children officially launched the “Green Jobs for Youth in Thailand” study at a joint event called “The Greener Generation”. The Ambassador emphasized the critical role of youth in steering towards a sustainable future.

The event was attended by over 60 stakeholders from various sectors including government, academia, corporates, and non-profit organizations. The speakers highlighted the necessity of a coordinated approach to foster a greener economy, and an ambitious commitment to set forth a progressive agenda for integrating sustainability into Thailand’s developmental policies, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals as instated by the United Nations.

Green Jobs for Youth in Thailand was organized to commemorate World Environmental Day.
