  • February 11th : Weemoed on Wilderness (Digna Sinke, 2012) Duration: 88 min
    Follows the transformation of Tiengemeten Island from reclaimed farmland back to untamed wilderness over 13 years.
  • February 18th : De Platte Jungle (Johan van der Keuken, 1978)
    A documentary on the Waddenzee region's islands and tidal flats, addressing environmental concerns, bird populations, fishing, and the lives of people reliant on these ecosystems.
  • February 25th : 5 Walks Trilogy (Anna Abrahams)
    • Hercynia Silva (2008, 16 min): An exploration of Northern Europe's ancient forests, blending myth and ecological history.
    • Desert 79°: 3 Journeys Beyond the Known World (2010, 19 min): Recounting Arctic expeditions through unique storytelling and visual tones.
    • 7 Peaks (2012, 23 min): A reflection on humanity’s drive to conquer mountain summits and its existential implications.
  • March 4th : I Am The River, The River Is Me (Petr Lorm, 2024) Duration: 88 min
    A journey along New Zealand's Whanganui River, the first river to gain legal personhood, exploring its cultural and ecological significance.

Eric Satie Project - A Concert

  • March 10th 2025: A project which celebrate the anniversary of the death of Erik Satie (1925), through the improvisation of Eric Satie’s pieces in the Jazz idiom. Dutch musician Thomas Hillbrandie conducted a Workshop with 60 students, performed an educational concert for 200 students and an evening concert for general audience of 300+ at the historic St. Benoit in Istanbul.

Ensemble Orochi is an classical music ensemble from Holland. The ensemble consists of Dutch, Turkish, Spanish and Japanese musicians, is known as one of the most important ensembles of the Netherlands in the field of contemporary music.

18th ODTU International Classical Guitar Festival (Ankara)

First held in 1997, ODTÜ International Classical Guitar Festival, which hosts many renowned guitarists from various countries, has become a prestigious event of global recognition. This edition runs from 8-10 May 2025 featuring renowned Dutch classical guitarist Irina Kulikova as the closing act.

  • 10th May: Irina Kulikova will give the final concert of the festival.
