Camarata Trajectina at Opus Amadeus 2025

News item | 10-04-2025 | 12:50

A Unique Fusion of Music & History Camerata Trajectina’s performance will not only showcase their exceptional Dutch early music repertoire but will also intertwine history and storytelling. The concert will feature a recited diary from Gerard Hinlopen, a 17th-century Dutch traveler who visited Istanbul in 1670. The original Dutch text will be brought to life by one of the musicians and instantly translated into Turkish, creating a rich, cross-cultural experience.

Music, history, and cultural exchange

This special event, organized by Artisan Organizasyon, continues our commitment to bringing world-class European classical music to Turkey, further expanding the reach of cultural heritage in Istanbul.

The performance will take place at the stunning Saint Anthony Church in Beyoğlu, an ideal location for an unforgettable evening of music. As well as performing the concert, Camerata Trajectina will lead an inspiring masterclass, giving young Turkish musicians the opportunity to engage with internationally acclaimed artists.

We celebrate music, history, and cultural exchange in the heart of Istanbul.
