2024 stood out as a special year for the Netherlands and Türkiye, countries with deep historical ties. We celebrated the 100th anniversary of the friendship agreement and the 60th anniversary of the labor agreement between the two countries. To celebrate our special and valuable friendship, we are organizing a photography competition with the theme of 'Friendship', under the leadership of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ankara and the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Istanbul, with the organization of Amidart Culture & Art Community and the support of 212 Photography Istanbul.

With this competition, we aim to reflect the concept of friendship, record this friendship in each photograph taken, remind people of friendships that transcend borders, make everything that can fit into a photograph visible through art, and moreover create lasting memories.
A distinguished jury consisting of experienced and professional photographers has been established. Our jury members are Burcu Böcekler, Cennet Kuşca, Merthan Anık, Paşa İmrek, Sinan Kılıç, and Tuba Kılıç.

We hope to receive photos by professional and amateur photographers from the Netherlands, Türkiye and all over the world. We believe this competition will enhance cultural interaction between the two countries and contribute to the existing friendly relations.
