Visit Prime Minister Dick Schoof- 02/09
On September 2, our Prime Minister Dick Schoof visited Ukraine as his first international trip. In Zaphorizha he met with President Zelenskyy where they visited an underground school, had bilateral consultations and spoke with veterans.
The Prime Minister was deeply impressed by the resilience of the Ukrainian people, who continue to fight Russian aggression, al while trying to pursue their lives under difficult circumstances. As part of the €209.5 million support package, the Prime Minister announced €94.5 million to support Ukraine’s energy sector. He underlined that the Netherlands will continue its undeminished support for Ukraine on every level; militarily, politically, financially and morally.
