The Netherlands is a breeding ground for hydrogen related companies but they need to work with the Middle East as a future production location for low cost Green Hydrogen in order to pilot and scale-up the new technologies but also enabling a more balanced energy system.
Keynote ‘Energy from Global South’
H.E. Ahmed Aboutaleb

The transition to an energy system based on hydrogen offers opportunities for Global South to become their own energy producers or even an energy exporting country. The Netherlands government supports Global South actively in developing these opportunities.
Invest International provides financing packages in grants and loans for public infrastructure and renewable energy solutions. This to develop the local (hydrogen) economy in Global South as well as contributing to solving challenges globally.
