The education and science policy focuses on strengthening knowledge diplomacy, stimulating strategic partnerships between institutions of higher education, and facilitating policy learning along relevant themes. In addition, the policy encourages meaningful discussions between Dutch and American educators and government officials involving trends, developments, and opportunities for the Dutch higher education sector. The education and science policy counselor consults with national, federal, and local authorities and educators to encourage cooperation between the Netherlands and the United States of America.
