October 2024 - Water as Leverage Academy, pt. II
Last week, we organized a two-day interactive “Water as Leverage” workshop. Here are some highlights:
The first day consisted of interactive sessions jointly organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Thailand and Netherlands Enterprise Agency , in collaboration with the Office of National Water Resources of Thailand and the Royal Irrigation Department (RID). Water management projects in the lower Chaopraya River basin were used as a case study.
June 2024 - Green Jobs for Youth in Thailand
The Embassy of the Netherlands In Thailand and Save the Children officially launched the “Green Jobs for Youth in Thailand” study at a joint event called “The Greener Generation”. The Ambassador emphasized the critical role of youth in steering towards a sustainable future.
May 2024 - Thai–Dutch Inspiration Session for Innovative & Sustainable Horticulture
The Embassy of the Netherlands in Thailand hosted the “Thai – Dutch Inspiration Session in Global Context for Innovative & Sustainable Horticulture” during the Horti Asia Seminar 2024, led by nine experts from Thailand and the Netherlands sharing their expertise on innovative and sustainable horticulture.
May 2024 - Summer Course: Amphibious Transformation by Design
The "Amphibious Transformation by Design'' course brought together students from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) in Thailand and Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) in Indonesia to explore water-related challenges in regional, metropolitan and urban environments who all face climate change.
April 2024 - Urban Delta Briefing: Viable Sustainable Urban Food System
“Thai – Dutch Sustainable Urban Delta Briefing 2024; Viable Sustainable Urban Food Ecosystem” addressed the intertwined big challenges that the world is facing. Food systems have impacted, and are impacted by climate change, biodiversity degradation, and people’s well-being.
February 2024 - ACTIVE: Three Days of Knowledge Exchange for a Bikeable Bangkok
From Monday the 19th until Wednesday the 21st of February, we had the pleasure of partnering with the Dutch Cycling Embassy and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) in organizing three days of intensive workshops.
January 2024 - Connecting Minds for Low Carbon Cities
On January 22nd 2024, the the Embassy of the Netherlands organized a half-day activity that encourages dialogues on collaboration towards low-carbon cities.
“Connecting Minds for Low Carbon Cities” aimed to raise awareness, strengthen the networks on the topics related to sustainability, and reaffirm our commitment as a partner to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
